You don’t need to be in crisis to benefit from counselling

Counselling isn’t just for moments of crisis; it’s a powerful tool for maintaining emotional wellbeing, building resilience, and navigating life’s challenges with greater clarity.

Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply curious about personal growth, therapy can offer insight, support and practical strategies to help you move forward.

And if you are in crisis, counselling provides immediate emotional support. Together we can de-escalate intense feelings, address urgent needs, and begin to build a foundation for long-term wellbeing.

Feeling overwhelmed?

Life can be demanding. Work pressures, relationship dynamics, and unexpected changes – they can all leave us feeling anxious, confused, or emotionally drained. These feelings don’t mean you’re weak. They mean you are human.

If this resonates, I may be able to help.

There’s no magic fix, but counselling can help you make sense of the confusion, feel more grounded, and develop tools to cope more effectively. This might include practical techniques from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to help you notice unhelpful patterns and explore more balanced, realistic ways of thinking.

These tools are part of a flexible approach that’s shaped around what works best for you. You’ll gain insight into your patterns, learn strategies to manage stress, and begin to feel more in control.

About Me

I offer online therapy to individuals across Lincolnshire and beyond, making support accessible wherever you are.

Over the years, I have worked with various organisations including Lincoln YMCA, Rape Crisis, Lincolnshire Counselling and Mediation Service and the Diocese of Lincoln supporting lay readers and members of the clergy.

I started Wellbeing Counselling Lincoln in 2014, and later moved online as Wellbeing Talk Therapy.

I am an individual accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). The BACP is a governing body for counselling and psychotherapy.
