If You Need Urgent Help
Wellbeing Talk Therapy is a planned, appointment-based counselling service and does not provide crisis or emergency support.
If you or someone you care about is experiencing a mental health crisis, suicidal thoughts, or severe emotional distress and needs urgent help, the following services are available for immediate support:
- If someone’s life is at risk: Call 999 or go to A&E. This includes if someone has seriously injured themselves or taken an overdose
- NHS urgent mental health support: Call 111 and select the mental health option to speak to a trained mental health professional
- Samaritans: Call 116 123 free, 24 hours a day, for confidential non-judgemental listening support
- Shout: Text SHOUT to 85258 for free, confidential, 24/7 support by text
